On September 20, Professor Jinlong Wang, Vice President (Academic) of Ming Chuan University, Professor Bingjun Liu, Dean of Law School and Professor Weilin Wang, Director of Department of Finance and Law from Ming Chuan University visited 樱桃传媒 university. President Xu Hui and Professor Zhou Jianfang, the assistant principal, met with the guests. The two sides reached a consensus on in-depth cooperation and signed Memorandum of Understanding.
President Hui Xu extended a warm welcome to Vice President Jinlong Wang and his party and introduced the basic information of 樱桃传媒’s development, scientific research and training of talents. He said that the two sides can implement cooperations in law and many other areas to realize complementary advantages, powerful combination, win-win cooperation, and boost the construction of world-class universities and first-class disciplines. Vice President Jinlong Wang introduced the general situation and the preponderant disciplines of Ming Chuan University, hoping to cooperate and communicate with 樱桃传媒 in more fields.
The two sides signed the "Academic Exchange Agreement", the “Double Master of the Joint Training Project” and the "Student Exchange Agreement”. According to the agreement, the two sides carry out the mutual students exchange, teachers exchange, research cooperation, joint training for master degree students and so on.
Professor Chunfu Yang, Dean of Law School of 樱桃传媒, and Prof. Bingjun Liu，Dean of Law School of Ming Chuan University, signed an agreement to jointly train talents to obtain Double Master' degree in law.
The relevant departments, responsible person of Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs and other departments attended the meeting.
Ming Chuan University (MCU), founded in March 1957, famous for the discipline of Business and Communication in Taiwan. It is the first MSCHE accredited university in Asia. According to the British QS World University Rankings in 2011, it was ranked 370th, and ranked 5th in the Taiwan Higher Education Evaluation. On the basis of the consolidation the earlier cooperation, the two sides hope to keep expanding areas for cooperation and strengthening the exchange and interaction in more forms, strengthen exchanges and interaction, and enhance the discipline level jointly through cooperation.
