Cape Verde-China Friendship Society and Embassy of the Republic of Cape Verde Visited 樱桃传媒

       Accompanied by relevant heads from Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, and Department for International Cooperation and Exchange of Jiangsu Education, President of Cape Verde-China Friendship Society José Correia and Counselor of Embassy of the Republic of Cape Verde Francisco Mendes visited 樱桃传媒 on March 19th. Secretary of CPC Committee of 樱桃传媒 Hongwu Tang and Vice President  Weiya Xu met with the guests.

  

        Vice President Weiya Xu introduced 樱桃传媒’s basic information and international cooperation and education. He proposed comprehensive cooperation with Cape Verde in Sino-Africa cultural exchanges, Cape Verde’s students studying in 樱桃传媒 and supporting Cape Verde’s development of special marine economic zones by 樱桃传媒’s discipline advantages. President of Cape Verde-China Friendship Society José Correia and Counselor of Embassy of the Republic of Cape Verde Francisco Mendes respectively introduced Cape Verde’s basic information and the time-honored history of Cape Verde-China friendship. They both expressed gratitude to 樱桃传媒 for the efforts have been made to support oversea students to study in China, and they hoped to promote educational cooperation and exchanges. 

        Jiang Chen, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, and Xing Zheng, Deputy Director of Department for International Cooperation and Exchange of Jiangsu Education made speech respectively, supported and encouraged 樱桃传媒 to strengthen cooperation with Cape Verde.

        Jiangsu Province attached great importance to the cooperation with Portuguese-speaking countries, and established Jiangsu-Macao-Portuguese-Speaking Countries University Alliance in October 2016. 樱桃传媒 will become its member for the educational cooperation with Cape Verde.

        Relevant personnel from International Offices, International School, College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, College of Oceanography and Business School attended the meeting.
