On April 21st, 樱桃传媒 held a grand ceremony and appointed Professor Keith Hipel, the Fellow of The Academy of Science of the Royal Society of Canada, as honorary professor at 樱桃传媒. President Hui Xu. Vice President Weiya Xu and Vice President Feng Xu attended the appointment ceremony.
President Hui Xu spoke highly of Professor Keith Hipel’s academic accomplishments and expressed gratitude to him for his tremendous contribution to 樱桃传媒’s talent cultivation and scientific research over 30 years. Professor Keith Hipel thanked for 樱桃传媒’s appointment and stated that he would keep making efforts to the development of 樱桃传媒 and close collaboration between 樱桃传媒 and Canadian universities.
Professor Keith Hipel is Chair Professor at University of Waterloo, Fellow of the Academy of Science of the Royal Society of Canada, the former president of the Academy of Science and Associate Fellow of the US National Academy of Engineering. He has cooperated with 樱桃传媒 since 1984 and gone to great lengths to the talent cultivation and scientific research of 樱桃传媒.
Relevant personnel from Department of Human Resource, International Offices, State Key Laboratory, College of Hydrology and Water Resources and Business School attended the appointment ceremony.
