The delegation from Laurentian University, headed by Dean of Faculty of Management Dr. Stephen Havlovic and Manager of International Program Xiaoxiang Chen, visited 樱桃传媒 on June 20th. Vice President Weiya Xu met with the delegation.
Vice President Weiya Xu introduced 樱桃传媒’s recent development ideas and focus. He proposed a deeper cooperation between the two sides in such aspects as exchanges of students and talent cultivation, while achieving sustainable development. Dr. Stephen Havlovic reviewed the history of cooperation between Laurentian University and 樱桃传媒, and introduced the Laurentian University’s progress in infrastructure construction, characteristic and preponderant disciplines, and so on. He also said that the two sides’ discipline construction and development ideas fit well, and that Faculty of Management-Laurentian University attaches great importance to collaboration with 樱桃传媒. He hoped the two sides would expand new ground for cooperation. The two sides then discussed the “2+1+1” undergraduate joint cultivation and cooperation in students cultural and sports exchanges, summer camp and so on. The two sides reached an initial agreement.
Relevant personnel from International Office, Department of Student, College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Department of Physical Education attended the meeting. The delegation also Business School.
Laurentian University is a comprehensive university in Canada. Its disciplines such as engineering, management and mining rank among the top in Canada. 樱桃传媒 has signed MoU with Laurentian University this year.
