On August 31st, Professor Hervé Le Treut, the world-renowned atmospheric scientist, the Member of French Academy of Sciences, visited 樱桃传媒. Vice President Weiya Xu met with the guest.
Vice President Weiya Xu introduced basic information about 樱桃传媒’s history and curriculum setting and proposed in-depth cooperation in the field of atmosphere and hydrologic cycle. Pro. Hervé Le Treut introduced his research and achievements and hoped to carry out cooperation and exchanges with 樱桃传媒 in related fields. Pro. Hervé Le Treut also gave a lecture to 樱桃传媒’s teachers and students about the multi-scale and multidisciplinary feature of climate change issues.
Professor Hervé Le Treut is a world-renowned atmospheric scientist, the Member of French Academy of Sciences, French Academy of Agricultural Sciences and European Academy of Sciences, Professor of Paris-Sorbonne University and ?cole Polytechnique, Director of National Center for Scientific Research, France, Dean of graduate school of Institute of Ecology and Environmental Sciences-Paris, Director of Institute Pierre Simon Laplace, and the member of French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission.
